Signing Club (Kindergarten-2nd)
Signing Club students will learn to use American Sign Language (ASL) in order to promote communication with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (D/HH) at Briarlake. They may be paired with a deaf/hard of hearing buddy to practice signs. The goal of this club is to help support deaf and hard of hearing students in the classroom and give them the opportunity to socialize with their peers.
The Signing Club will meet every Tuesday in the music room from 7:05-7:35am. The first club meeting will begin on Tuesday, September 26th. Be sure to read and discuss these guidelines and expectations with your child before making the decision to join Signing Club.
